Beaune is three hours ten from Paris. From there the Route des Grands Crus unrolls Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin: villages a few kilometres apart, estates that receive by appointment, and tastings that make no sense at all if someone has to drive afterwards.
