How much does a private chauffeur in Paris cost?
A transfer between Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport costs €90 excl. VAT in a premium sedan and €105 excl. VAT in a premium van. To Orly, the flat fare is the same: €90 in a sedan and €105 in a van. Hiring a chauffeur by the hour costs €65 excl. VAT per hour in a sedan and €75 excl. VAT per hour in a van. Those three figures cover most of the requests we receive.
At Grand Paris Transport the price is agreed before the journey and does not change afterwards. It does not depend on the time of day, on traffic, or on how many suitcases you bring: what is written on this page is what you pay. This page lists our complete rate card — airport and station flat fares, full-day excursions and hourly hire — so you can compare without having to request a quote first.
Airport and railway station transfer prices
| Journey | Sedan · 1-3 pax | Van · 4-8 pax |
|---|---|---|
| Paris ↔ Charles de Gaulle (CDG) | €90 | €105 |
| Paris ↔ Orly (T1 to T4) | €90 | €105 |
| Paris ↔ Beauvais-Tillé (BVA) | €185 | €200 |
| Paris ↔ Disneyland Paris (Chessy) | €115 | €130 |
| Paris stations → address in Paris | from €70 | from €90 |
Prices exclude VAT; the 10% VAT rate applicable to passenger transport is added at checkout — so €99 including VAT for a CDG or Orly transfer in a sedan, €115.50 in a van. The fare covers tolls, meet and greet in the arrivals hall with a name sign, live flight tracking and 60 minutes of waiting after landing (30 minutes at railway stations). Airport arrivals carry a €20 excl. VAT meet-and-greet supplement per vehicle on top of the flat fare — €110 excl. VAT in a sedan and €125 in a van, €121 and €137.50 including VAT: your chauffeur waits in the terminal car park, where parking is charged by the time spent, even when the plane lands two hours late. Journeys to the airport do not carry it. There is no night, weekend, public holiday or luggage surcharge. Flat fares apply to direct journeys between the airport and central Paris; for a suburban address, the online quote returns a firm price in 30 seconds.
Full-day tour and excursion prices
| Destination | Hours included | Sedan | Van |
|---|---|---|---|
| Montmartre & Sacré-Cœur | 2 h | €140 | €170 |
| Classic Paris | 3 h | €195 | €225 |
| Palace of Versailles | 4 h | €280 | €340 |
| Giverny — Monet's house | 5 h | €320 | €390 |
| Normandy & D-Day beaches | 10 h | €650 | €850 |
| Loire Valley châteaux | 12 h | €800 | €1,100 |
| Mont Saint-Michel | 14 h | €950 | €1,300 |
Prices exclude VAT; the 20% rate applicable to chauffeur hire is added at checkout. The day rate covers the outbound journey, the return, the chauffeur waiting while you visit, tolls and parking. It does not include entrance tickets or meals. Beyond the hours included, the extra hourly rate is shown on each destination page. For an itinerary that is not in this table — several sites in one day, a wedding, a multi-day roadshow — the tailored quote prices your full programme.
Hourly chauffeur hire prices
| Vehicle | Capacity | Hourly rate | 4-hour example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium sedan | 3 passengers · 3 suitcases | €65 / h | €260 excl. VAT · €312 incl. VAT |
| Premium van | 8 passengers · 8 suitcases | €75 / h | €300 excl. VAT · €360 incl. VAT |
Prices exclude VAT; the 20% rate applicable to chauffeur hire is added at checkout. The hourly rate covers the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, tolls and parking for the whole booked period, however many stops you make. It is the cheapest option as soon as you make three or more journeys in a day — see our hourly chauffeur hire page. The same hourly rate applies to on-site waiting beyond the minutes included in a flat fare.
Journeys outside the flat fares
For a journey that matches none of the flat fares — a suburban address, a one-way trip to another region, a transfer between two towns in Île-de-France — the price is set journey by journey, from €70 excl. VAT in a premium sedan and €90 excl. VAT in a premium van. You can get the exact amount for your trip in 30 seconds on the home page, without creating an account, or through a tailored quote for a multi-day programme.
The price on screen is the price charged: it is firm, VAT included, and it is never recalculated after the journey, whatever the traffic or the detours imposed by roadworks. The booking form and the quote always return the same amount for the same journey.

Practical information about our prices
Fixed price or metered: what changes
A Paris taxi charges a regulated flat fare to the airports but runs a meter everywhere else, so your final bill depends on traffic and you only learn it on arrival. A consumer ride-hailing app shows a price when you order, but with surge pricing that can double on a Friday evening or a strike day, and no meet and greet inside the terminal.
Our model is different: the price is the one on this page, it is locked at booking, and it includes waiting time. On a CDG transfer during a busy evening, that is usually where the gap is most visible. Over a day with several appointments, hourly hire is almost always cheaper than the sum of separate journeys — and you leave your belongings in the vehicle between stops.
We operate as a pre-booked chauffeur company: vehicles are reserved in advance and never hailed in the street. That framework is what makes an advertised price and a consistent fleet possible. See our terms and conditions for the contractual detail.
Frequently asked questions about prices
How much is a private chauffeur for a full day in Paris?
Eight hours of chauffeur hire costs €520 excluding VAT in a premium sedan and €600 in a premium van, so €624 and €720 including VAT. The chauffeur stays with you for the whole booked period, with unlimited stops, and tolls and parking are covered.
Are the prices shown with or without VAT?
All prices on this page exclude VAT. VAT is added at checkout: 10% for point-to-point passenger transport, 20% for hourly hire or a full-day excursion. A CDG transfer in a sedan therefore comes to €99 including VAT, and one hour of sedan hire to €78.
Is there a night, weekend or public holiday surcharge?
No. The rate is the same 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Sundays and public holidays included. We apply no surge pricing: a CDG transfer at 2 a.m. on 31 December costs the same as one at 2 p.m. on a Tuesday. The only supplement on our rate card depends not on the time but on the direction of travel: €20 excluding VAT per vehicle on airport arrivals, for the terminal car park while your chauffeur waits for the aircraft.
Is luggage charged extra?
No. The premium sedan takes 3 passengers with 3 suitcases and 3 cabin bags; the premium van takes 8 passengers with 8 suitcases and 5 cabin bags. Only oversized items — skis, bicycles, large musical instruments — need to be flagged at booking so the right vehicle is assigned.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Nothing on your side, and nothing on your invoice. We track your flight live and the pick-up time follows the actual landing. The 60 included minutes of waiting start then; only beyond that is waiting charged at the hourly rate, €65 per hour in a sedan and €75 in a van.
Does the price change if we are more passengers than planned?
The price depends on the vehicle, not on the exact number of passengers within its capacity. A couple and a group of three pay the same sedan fare. Moving from sedan to van does change the CDG fare from €90 to €105 excluding VAT, so tell us about any change of group size before the journey.
Can I get an invoice for my expenses?
Yes. A named invoice showing the amount excluding VAT, the VAT and the total is emailed immediately after payment. For a corporate account with consolidated monthly billing, write to contact@grandparistransport.com.
Can I cancel free of charge?
Yes, up to 24 hours before the pick-up time. The full conditions, including late cancellations and full-day excursions, are set out in our terms and conditions.
